What makes great television? We aren't exactly sure. But one thing we *do* know: Flight of the Conchords is on tshirtoutlet.com's favorite-televisionism list. Bret and Jemaine, the show's lead characters, somehow manage to glide from naive to glistening-with-confidence and back to (even more) naive, all in minutes. They're musicians from New Zealand (NOT Australia) and their musicianship creates a backdrop for the show's witty, rambling storylines. We've been captivated by the whole package (heh, we said package) from the first time we laid eyes/ears on its magic.
So you can imagine our shock upon being informed that one of tshirtoutlet.com's designs is featured on this season's third episode. (We'll spell it out for you: there may have been no fewer than eighty-three parties held in our own honor as a result. Which may have brought about the eventual breaking of many valuables. And the drinking of many vats o' beer. And yelling incoherently about being golden gods while leaping from as many as TWO, no, THREE stories into swimming pools.
Okay. Yes. The third story was actually a mezzanine. But it totally FELT like a third story.
Which ought to count for something.)
We feel lucky. Lucky in love, that is. With Flight of the Conchords.
*unnecessary anecdotal braggery aside, we're really total, unabashed fangirls/boys of the show, and are almost embarrassingly flattered to have one of our house designs featured. even if they *did* use the shirt because it's high cheese. guess what? cheese: as good as bacon. (well. nearly.)
